Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk in McMinnville, Tennessee. The role primarily involves managing health-related data, specifically within the framework of the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA). As a Medical Data Entry Clerk, you will be required to handle sensitive information with accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately inputting and managing health-related data into the AHLTA system

• Utilizing EHR SYSTEM and IBM AS/400 for various data entry tasks

• Employing McKesson software for healthcare information solutions

• Using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Executing billing functions and claim administration tasks

• Providing excellent customer service, addressing and resolving inquiries or issues related to data entry

• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of all work

• Ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times

• Performing additional duties as required, all related to the realm of medical data entry. Requirements • Proficiency in using the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)

• Must be well versed in EHR SYSTEM operation

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 is required

• Experience with McKesson software is a must

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to perform Billing Functions accurately

• Experience in Claim Administration

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Accurate and fast Data Entry skills

• Must be proficient in Documentation processes and procedures
