Description

We are in search of a Tax Manager to join our Full-Time Engagement Practice based in Washington, DC. In this role, you will bring your expertise to complete income tax planning activities, performing tax research and analysis, preparing tax opinions, and developing strategies for addressing federal and state tax issues.

Responsibilities:

• Directing and managing income tax activities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

• Utilizing tax software such as OneSource and CorpTax for efficient tax operations

• Overseeing the preparation and review of corporate income tax provisions

• Providing training and support to team members on tax provision software, if necessary

• Conducting annual income tax provision activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Staying updated with tax laws and regulations, implementing changes in company tax procedures when required

• Collaborating with other departments to provide tax-related advice and insights

• Ensuring all tax-related documents and reports are accurately prepared and maintained.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in a tax-related role

• Extensive experience with OneSource and CorpTax Software is required

• Proficiency in handling Tax Provisions is mandatory

• CPA and/or public accounting highly preferred

• Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision is essential

• Demonstrable expertise in Corporate Income Tax is necessary
