Clark Construction Group, LLC Senior Communications Coordinator in McLean, Virginia
Clark Construction Group is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and creative thinker to join our Communications Department. Our team is responsible for shaping and reinforcing Clark’s culture, brand, and value proposition by creating strategic and relevant content to engage our employees, clients, and stakeholders.
The Senior Communications Coordinator will help develop visual, written, and multimedia content for a multitude of uses. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and results-driven, with strong graphic design, writing, and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and create high-quality written and visual content for:
Internal announcements and company newsletters
Company news and press releases
Corporate marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, advertisements, and other collateral
Award submissions
Company publications, including Clark’s print magazine, Superstructure
Corporate websites
Social media
Ensure all communications uphold consistent corporate brand standards in visuals, writing, and tone
Organize and execute company events, including RSVP management and creation of event materials
Manage Clark’s external website, ensuring content is engaging and accurate
Assist with department operations, including vendor processing and payment and maintaining project tracking systems
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to gather support for communications initiatives
Execute content strategies that advance Clark’s brand and business unit goals
Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant work experience, preferable in communications or marketing
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with Premiere Pro a plus
Command of visual design principles to create appealing and effective communication
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English grammar and a keen attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Experience using Drupal and Squarespace is a plus
Interest in the A/E/C industry is a plus
