As a Manager, Product Manager on the Enterprise AI Product team, you will be part of the team designing and delivering best in class ML and AI products for Capital One data scientists, ML engineers and product teams. We’re passionate about experimenting and building products with next-generation technologies.

This role represents the needs of the customer to inform our product roadmap, ensuring we are building and delivering to the needs of the customer and the intended business outcomes. You will be responsible for feature definition and development in partnership with our technology teams.

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about technology and deeply empathizes with internal and external customer needs; they are passionate about generative AI and have begun their learning journey on the capabilities and uses of these technologies. They are comfortable in conversation with engineering and data science teams as well as stakeholders and senior leaders.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for key components and features.

  • Responsible direct ownership of products.

  • Deeply understand the needs of data scientists, engineers and Capital One customers.

  • Prioritize the product backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes.

  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.

  • Enable collaboration and ensure communication between teams.

  • Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in many agile ceremonies.

  • Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments.

  • Serve as the connection between customers, Capital One’s mission, and your team.

  • You are a learner who is able to quickly get up to speed in a highly technical environment.

  • You are experienced working in an Agile environment.

  • You are a do-er who can also zoom out and think strategically.

  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • You are highly collaborative and have the ability to influence and lead.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in science, engineering or related fields

  • Knowledge of or demonstrated investment in learning about emerging machine learning methods, techniques, and applications
