Job Title: Direct Hire Arc Welder III 1st Shift

Location: Mayville, Wisconsin 53050

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Shift: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Mandatory Overtime: Up to 10 hours, every other Saturday as needed to meet production requirements

Incentive Bonus:

New Hire Incentive Bonus of $1,000 in three payments:

  • $200 after 3 months

  • $400 after 6 months

  • $400 after 12 months

*Note: Payments are contingent on no disciplinary actions within each respective quarter.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Arc Welder III to join our team for the 1st shift. The successful candidate will perform production welding on mild steel using the MIG process under the supervision of an Arc Welder #1 or lead person. This role provides an opportunity to develop the necessary skills to advance to the Arc Welder #2 classification.

Essential Functions:

  1. Ensure the quality of the parts produced.

  2. Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding.

  3. Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Physically capable of frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.

  • Adequate reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.

  • Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.

  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment properly.

  • Ability to pass the spirometry (respiratory) test per OSHA requirements.
