Summary: The primary duties and responsibilities of this position are managed to support Base Support Vehicles and Equipment (BSVE) and Weight Handling Equipment PM’s and/or repairs.

Anticipated responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Assure performance objectives and standards identified in Annex 1700000 BSVE are met.

· Oversee mechanics; work closely with the NAVY customer to meet the requirements for BSVE as identified in the contract.

· Requires expertise in Base Support Vehicles and Equipment and managing Transportation Assets inclusive of Weight Handling Systems (WHE), which consists of cranes such as portable and jib cranes.

· Provides innovative solutions to BSVE issues and create effective and efficient processes for delivering the customer requirements.

· Ensure all employees are compliant with safe working practices and use company provided tools and resources to work safely every day.

· Support the entire leadership team in delivering sustained superior performance to the NAVY.

Here’s what you’ll need :

Duties / Essential Functions:

Experience in large Facility Support Services or Base Operations Support contracts within Base Support Vehicles and Equipment function desired; experience in Maximo or another CMMS preferred.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing Transportation Operations in projects of similar size, scope and complexity.

Knowledge of Navy NAVFAC P307 and other applicable codes and standards (local, state and federal) Understanding of GSA vehicle processes and requirements as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
