What You'll Do The Manufacturing Production Assistant's essential duties will include, but are not limited to: Supporting product development and assembly tasks based off supervisor's visual and verbal instructions Mimicking/repeating tasks given by the supervisor throughout the working day Providing continuous quality control while maintaining the timeliness of each task given by the supervisor Maintaining a clean and organized work area Prioritizing safety at all times Communicating with other team members concerning problems and possible solutions Staying goal-oriented Assisting in shop maintenance tasks as needed What You'll Bring A hardworking and self-motivated mentality that enjoys a challenge The ability to work at a fast pace with high accuracy and minimal supervision Strong attention to detail, including continually checking for completeness of work order requirements and components Comfort with working in an environment with production targets The ability to follow unwritten and oral instructions and procedures Dependability and reliability What We Require Using manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, gross motor skills and fine motor skills Performing repetitive movements including simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation Reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds Ability to sit for long periods of time High school diploma or equivalent (GED) All applicants must have legal authorization to work in the US Drug-screen and background check prior to starting the position What We Value Experience in an assembly area is strongly preferred Experience with working in tool & die, finishing/polishing tools, and a CDL certification are all a bonus, but not required Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
