Verdantas is seeking a Staff Engineer I . This position will be located at Marysville, CA .
Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design
Design using AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydrology/hydraulics software
Prepare permit and construction drawings, calculations, and reports
Perform engineering work for solar and natural gas land development projects
Conduct site investigations and assess existing conditions
Use GPS-enabled data collectors for data analysis and mapping
Support feasibility determinations for various infrastructure types
Observe construction, document progress, and identify deviations
Assist in preparing Contract Documents and managing submittals/RFIs
Provide technical support to project managers
Perform field sampling, monitoring, and construction oversight
Handle administrative duties related to project management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
0-2 years of experience in civil engineering
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
EIT Preferred
Familiarity with ArcGIS software is preferred
Able to travel for field assignments daily
Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines, as needed
Must possess a valid driver's license
