We currently have an exciting opportunity within Nestle Purina PetCare for a Maintenance Planner to join the Engineering team at our Marton Factory.

Maintenance Planner is responsible to ensure that all maintenance activities are planned and performed in an optimized way, considered all the potential constrains, like available manpower, production schedule, severity of potential failure, safety, food safety, available tools and spare parts, as well as the corresponding prioritization of activities.

A day in the life…

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and acting as the key liaison with other departments and operational users, key responsibilities include:

  • Enable world class maintenance planning in Operations (including operators and technicians), providing assets' Maintenance in according to the Nestlé Strategy while using TPM as the multi-disciplinary approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle.

  • Supervision of contractors or other 3rd parties onsite.

  • Support and contribute to have a proper technical store management.

  • Support with data in building the maintenance budget (zero base), supported with the foreseen planned maintenance in each asset, in line with Guidelines.

  • Ensure that the maintenance activities in industrial services are planned properly.

  • Support the technical stores management through a proper link between the planned maintenance activities and the required spare parts, in advance, to help the whole technical store optimization process.

  • Ensure the planning of all maintenance activities are performed considering constrains on safety, food safety, energy/water consumption at factory level by analysing the potential impact of any variable (e.g. high-risk activities, spare parts quality, materials, etc).

What will make you successful

You will have strong demonstrated experience in Engineering and will have:

  • Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong professional with a drive to deliver quality outcomes.

  • 3 years’ experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as Technician, Engineering Supervisor, maintenance Engineer, or other similar position)

  • Experiences as Maintenance Planner, including the planning and coordination of maintenance activities, including maintenance budget, safety permits, coordination with other operational areas, tracking of maintenance KPI's, etc.

  • Participation in the coordination and planning of maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, electro mechanical, instrumentation, industrial services, E&A, and operators basic maintenance activities.

  • Experience with SAP preferred.

  • Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning techniques and maintenance execution preferred.

  • Experience participating in a basic SH&E and Food Safety training preferred.

  • Recommended to have had participation in the start-up or commissioning of technical equipment and/or production line(s).

  • Self-management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them.

  • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
