Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The ITIL Release Management Coordinator is responsible for all software configuration items, installation and support that are released into the production environment. This individual ensures the right levels of due diligence and requirements are applied to each release, according to established processes and proactively developed set of acceptance criteria, based on the release risk and complexity. The ITIL Release Management Coordinator will have a deep understanding of the non-production environments that are used to test and validate releases prior to production deployment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technical field.

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Four years of experience with IT operational and/or service management processes. Demonstrated experience across multiple service management processes including problem management, release management, change management, service desk, and/or incident/event management. High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Preferred/Optional: Experience with migration projects. Experience coordinating technology implementations in highly secure environments. Application development and project management background.
