Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to join their team. As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be part of the North America Enterprise IT Team supporting various sites. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Sr IT Support Specialist
Location: Marshalltown, IA - Onsite
What's the Job?
Support the IT and Telecommunications Infrastructure ensuring alignment with the Global IT strategy.
Provide onsite support and collaborate with centrally provided IT services to meet agreed service levels.
Act as the escalation point for issue resolution between the business and IT community.
Maintain IT documentation and ensure compliance with security standards.
Build strong relationships with users to become a trusted partner in delivering IT services.
What's Needed?
College/University degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in a general IT environment.
Knowledge of VMware ESXi / VCenter, Windows Server, and Cisco networking.
Experience with security and compliance tools such as Ivanti/LanDesk and WSUS.
Strong understanding of IP networking administration and services.
