Our client, a leader in heavy industry, is seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager to join their team. As a Maintenance Manager, you will be part of the management team supporting the maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Marietta, OH

Pay Range: $150,000 - $175,000

What's the Job?

• Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, programs, and schedules to ensure the smooth running of all machinery and equipment.

• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians, ensuring proper training and motivation to perform roles efficiently.

• Oversee the planning and execution of preventative and predictive maintenance to reduce the occurrence of unplanned breakdowns.

• Quickly identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures, taking appropriate corrective actions to minimize downtime.

• Manage the maintenance department’s budget, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role, preferably within the alloys or manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and equipment.

• Proven experience with preventative maintenance systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

• Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
