Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs a USAC Payroll Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Manage multiple activities with multiple timelines ensuring USAC program activities are on track with overall project timeline, by consulting and advising on policy and procedural questions, investigating, and solving unique and complicated problem situations.Provide training and guidance to help onboard new USAC team members by providing priorities and work direction for business analysts supporting payroll-related activities for USAC payroll projectsPerform user testing and sign-off for configuration, integrations and reporting supporting USAC payroll processes and partner with IT lead on identifying, configuring, and testing solutions in Workday by supporting USAC solution testing and assure collection of adequate test scripts are defined, setup and executedServe as subject matter expert (SME) for USAC payroll processes (Foreign Service Employees, General Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Annual Incentive Plan, Sales Incentive Plan, etc.) engaging cross-team resources when necessary. Escalate issues specific to a Center of Excellence to appropriate owner, as neededReview and approve business requirements as input to change request process for operations and provide best practices to other area payroll projects; raise suggestions for process improvement and lead or participate in efforts to implement, as appropriateYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university AND eight (8) years of Payroll, HR or Finance experience in a private, public, government or military environmentORHigh School Diploma/ GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and twelve (12) years of Payroll, HR or Finance experience in a private, public, government or military environmentIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Five (5) years of leadership experience and project management experienceAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in t is role include:Master's degree in business, finance, or HR related fields from an accredited institutionExtensive knowledge in payroll practices and procedures, technology orientation and understanding of HR SystemsTeam leadership skills and/or project management skills with ability to facilitate and lead cross-functional project teamsCustomer service, organizational, presentation, and prioritization skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to influence and negotiate with others and the ability to work independently/confidentiallyFor current employees, internal transfer restrictions may not apply.
