The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleThis exciting role is in the fast paced Electronics Materials Solutions Division working with global colleagues. You will help develop the marketing analytics as the Division expert. You will analyze digital customer trends and demand generation performance metrics to develop strategic insights that improve campaign management practices to generate sales growth.
As a Marketing Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Analyze digital customer trends and demand generation performance metrics to develop strategic insights to improve campaign management practices to generate sales growth
Establish standardized KPIs; develop and execute monthly tactical and strategic metric dashboards; Elevate basic reporting to actionable insights to deliver sound and effective optimization recommendations
Interprets, collects and analyzes digital marketing data, then provides insights and action plans to help business partners drive performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Uses critical-thinking skills, conducts analysis of digital programs, and provides specific recommendations and actions to aiming at driving business results and growth opportunities, balancing them against their impact on customer value and market dynamics.
Collaborate with business subject matter experts and corporate SEO leads to identify opportunities & provide recommendations for the optimization of content for organic search
Lead audience segmentation and campaign launch reporting
Assist business and integrated marketing team with audience targeting and A/B testing campaigns; Management of paid search campaigns
Collaborate with interactive marketing to manage social campaigns, provide input for social media strategy and execute social media (paid) campaigns
Other broader marketing analyst responsibilities as assigned
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Three (3) years of digital marketing or marketing analyst experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Five (5) years of experience in digital marketing, marketing analyst, data analyst, or business in a private, public, government or military environment
Skills include:
B2B social media experience
B2B digital marketing experience
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal communications skills
Able to work well independently or as part of a team
Global division requires this person to have a global mindset and the ability to work with colleagues around the world
Ability to work in a highly technical environment; experience marketing technical products to a technical audience
Work location:
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN at least 1 day per week)
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic travel
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
