Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC) is actively seeking a Vice President of IT to play a pivotal role within the Cardiology and Peripheral Intervention Divisions and the Global IT team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Commercial IT, this position presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned and influential leader to blend forward-thinking strategy with meticulous execution. As the IT Vice President, you will exemplify excellence, cultivating a culture of growth across the department. Working closely with Directors and Vice Presidents, you will lead the fulfillment of digital requirements critical to our business's success and expansion. Your responsibilities include advocating for enterprise architecture, making value-driven investment decisions, and significantly enhancing overall performance and profitability. Your responsibilities will include: Partner with divisional leadership to understand business opportunities where the IT organization can make an impact and advance innovative solutions. Provide strategic advice to divisional leadership about the best uses of digital opportunities. Serve as an advisor to the business and their primary liaison to Global IT services. Bring a global focus to problem-solving and ensure our Global IT solutions, projects, resourcing, and funding support the priorities of the business. Leverage existing capabilities and systems whenever possible, building local specialized systems only when existing options are unable to meet business needs. Represent Cardiology and Peripheral Intervention as a core member of the Commercial IT Management Board, collaborate, and partner with peers in IT to enhance the digital value potential for the divisions they support. Represent IT as a core member of Divisional/Franchise Leadership Teams. Mentor and develop the next generation of leadership and talent within Global IT and specific to the division. Create an empowered and inclusive organization that rewards risk-taking, encourages innovation, and rewards based on contribution. Drive simplification and instill continuous improvement discipline within Global IT and in the business. Strive to identify opportunities to reduce the overall cost to serve and operate new solutions and help the business find new ways to maximize efficiency. Manage numerous digital projects and programs, raising risks and issues as needed. Oversee the health and technical longevity of architecture and applications used by the Region. Engage the IT Leadership team to help accomplish the mission and as a point of escalation. Reinforce the importance of quality and ensure appropriate compliance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in technology (Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Data Science and/or Analytics), or a related field. 10+ years of relevant professional experience in information technology leadership. Proven track record collaborating across marketing, sales, and IT leadership to implement tech solutions, enhancing consumer value and streamlining product development. Experience working in a global organization supporting diverse teams. Strong knowledge of product team execution and Agile development practices. Proven experience conc iving and delivering innovative solutions leveraging technology and information. Comprehensive understanding of information systems, financials, contract management, and digital transformation. Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining highly collaborative, flexible, and productive cross-organization teams. Preferred Qualifications and Competencies: Experience supporting multiple accounts in an IT services organization. Experience in developing digital solutions for the healthcare industry. Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to synthesize data for crisp understanding. Senior executive presence, comfortable presenting and collaborating with senior leaders as a business advisor.
