Boston Scientific Quality Engineer II in Maple Grove, Minnesota

About the role: Provide Quality Engineering support to Maple Grove manufacturing lines, ensuring delivery of the highest quality product to the customer while supporting continuous improvement projects and quality initiatives. Partner with production and manufacturing engineers for daily operations support. Develops, establishes and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices which meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements. Serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities. Provides focused quality engineering support within new product development, operational, or system/services support. This position requires interactions with multiple divisions and value streams across Boston Scientific. This role will support the Assembly, Packaging, and Chemistries (APC) team within Maple Grove Operations. Your responsibilities will include: Identify and implement effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements. Lead in the implementation of process changes, non-conformances, and CAPAs initiatives. Acts as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices. Mentor quality technicians within business unit. Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues. Approval of change requests for product, process and quality system changes. Support internal & external quality audits Create and maintain data files and forms and Update databases and spreadsheets used to track, monitor, and report department activities. Required qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 2 years of related experience Preferred qualifications: Operations Experience Validation Experience Knowledge of basic Quality Systems Prior interactions with the following disciplines: manufacturing engineering, post market complaints, CAPA, risk management, supplier quality, and process engineering Knowledge of problem solving and statistical analysis techniques Familiarity with product documentation, inspection and testing, and Manufacturing Execution Medical device experience, or experience in a regulated industry Excellent Communication Skills Requisition ID:579929 Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substancetesting requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
