About the role The Manger of Clinical & Sales Training (CAST) will be responsible for ensuring effective trainings are delivered that bridge skill gaps in sales and clinical knowledge, and continued development for all field sales employees. As manager of CAST, this position has primary responsibility of training deliverables, programs with a focus on merging selling skills with foundational clinical data and theory, and the learning management system platform. The ideal candidate will work in heavy collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations to deliver programs that meet the needs of the field sales organization for post TCAR clinical certification through advanced field training. This individual will collaborate on overall strategy, and implementation for Boston Scientific - TCAR in alignment with company goals and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include Responsibility for developing and executing the learning strategy to optimize the performance of the sales organization Collaborating with training team and cross-functional partners to deploy best in industry Training programs. Supports the development & execution of offerings to advance the skill sets in the clinical and sales arena Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand critical components for objections and clinical insights to support field sales organization. Create, updated, and delivering training programs to ensure TCAR proficiency of the field organization, all other collaborative cross functional partners. Focus on recently TCAR certified field team members to maximum productivity in 6 to 12 months in the field Work collaboratively with IT and architecture to support the imaging platform software updates and application for the field team Driving continued field education of all commercial field personnel via multiple training mechanisms & vehicles to include, but not limited to: Role playing Online Courses Instructor Led programs Self-Study materials Local and regional meetings Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that Clinical and Sales Training processes and programs meet all Federal, State, local and company regulations, and Health-Care Compliance (HCC) policies. Performing other duties to support the TCAR Clinica and Sales Training initiatives as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree (MBA, MSc) preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant business experience with prior experience in TCAR and Cardiovascular Medical Device Ability to travel 75% Proven ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications required Familiarity with the medical device industry, laws and regulations governing medical device manufacturers and compliance Peripheral Vascular / Cardiovascular technology knowledge is required Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills required. Ability to work effectively with peers, both internally and externally Must demonstrate strong commercial, clinical, and business acumen Strong presentation skills, customer relations skills, and proven track record of respect and connections with field organizations required Results & Performance Driven (including focus on execution) Strategic Thinking, Collaboration & Teaming, Sense of Urgency, Big Picture Orientation with Attention to Detail.
