What the day will look like

In this wide and varied role your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead broker on a nominated account list, involving engagement across all regions of the UK

  • Within the team , lead D&O broker on new business opportunities

  • Coordination and collaboration with the other CRUK broking teams on individual client placement exercises and market engagements

  • Client presentations and visits alongside core client service teams

  • Branch and region visits to assist in engagement and awareness of D&O market issues and updates

    How this opportunity is different

This is a highly visible role that sits within the Commercial Risks UK D&O team which is part of Aon's wider UK Broking operations. The team serves our regional operations, covering both our Advisory /SME and Corporate segments – as such, the broking activity spans middle size UK companies up to major UK plc risks and comprises one of the largest Corporate D&O portfolios in the market. The role will also include collaboration with our EMEA and GBC Financial Lines colleagues.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum 3 years experience broking UK Financial Lines and/or D&O risks

  • Achievement or progress towards Professional Qualifications

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong self-management of workload and delivery to meet client needs
