Job Description

As a Program Management Apprentice, you will be responsible for preparing reports and presentations, coordinating and prioritizing the manager's schedule, and maintaining a calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries. You will handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature, answer and screen phone calls, provide facility tours, conduct research, and compile statistical reports. This role involves extensive interaction with customers, vendors, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports and presentations.

  • Coordinate and prioritize the manager's schedule.

  • Maintain a calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries.

  • Handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature.

  • Answer and screen phone calls.

  • Provide facility tours.

  • Conduct research and compile statistical reports.

  • Interact frequently with customers, vendors, and visitors.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with medical device manufacturing is a major plus.

  • Completion of RJG Master Molder 1 certification is highly beneficial.

  • Technical background or mechanical hobbies.

Work Environment

The work environment is extremely clean and modern, with sophisticated conference rooms and a large kitchen/cafe area. The workday is divided equally between the shop floor, which is a semi-clean room, and desk work. The dress code is business casual. You will work closely with the Program Manager Leader, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Tooling Engineer. Full-time salaried employees receive an extra two weeks off around the December and New Year holiday season. This role offers a salaried contract with paid time off and holidays, and provides career training to become a Program Manager, which is highly sought after by recent engineering graduates. Training for this position will be in a highly regulated industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $33.00/hr.
