Summary of Role:

Analyze and calculate the capacity parameters for equipment groups needed to identify equipment capability to generate fab capacity.

Essential Responsibilities:

Analyze and calculate the capacity parameters for equipment groups needed to identify equipment capability to generate fab capacity. Lead process improvement teams and other small project technical teams through coordination of cross-departmental team members to develop action plans to deliver capacity enhancements, cost savings and cost efficiency initiatives. Update and run the capacity model for both ramp plans and new product analyses. Analyze capacity output and make recommendations on fab tooling purchases, retrofits, or transfers. Identify productivity improvement opportunities by generating potential improvements from tool bottleneck process, Overall Effective Efficiency and other capacity limiting factors to improve overall fab capacity, cycle time and to meet fab capacity ramp plans. Lead process improvement teams and other small project technical teams to improve factory output using advanced analytics. Prepare and present data for executive-level audience.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, or related field of study.

  • Experience – 4 years of experience in job offered or as an Industrial Engineer or related role. Requires 4 years of experience in: (1) Leading cross-functional teams for productivity improvements; (2) Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE); (3) Performing ramp plan capacity assessments; (4) Managing bottleneck toolsets; (5) analytics (CWCM capacity modeling system, Power BI reports, JMP, MS excel); and (6) Wafer Fab or High Volume Manufacturing Facility.

Salary range: $109,778–$142,000

Salary range: $109,778–$142,000
