United Parcel Service General Services Co. seeks Senior Database Analyst in Mahwah, NJ:Job Duties: Interact with functional representatives, business analysts, data analysts, Systems Administration and Programming, and Applications Development project teams to apply data operations requirements that support the effective storage and retrieval of data. Work independently on one or more high transactional and complex database environments. Configure, maintain, install, and implement SQL databases. Migrate databases, perform backups and disaster recovery, create, and apply patches. Customize and upgrade existing databases and perform performance tunes to optimize efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, monitor database security, and manage user access. Provide training and support to users. Telecommuting is permitted.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Biotechnology, Engineering (any field) or a related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.Special Skill Requirements: (1) SQL Server database administration; (2) Sentry One; (3) Database Security; (4) LiquiBase CI/CD; (5) PowerShell; (7) TSQL tuning; (8) Windows clustering; (9) SQL Server FCI/AlwaysOn Clustering; (10) SSIS, SSRS, SSAS; (11) VMWare/VRops/vCenter; (12) Advanced Knowledge of Backup/Recovery; and (13) Microsoft support tools (PSSDIAG). Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
