Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner and HR Project Coordinator.

The main tasks are the following one:

  • Specializes and manages a technical function within human resources (HR). Serves as a technical specialist for the function.

  • Is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on individual's HR interpretations and advice.

  • May leads complex HR projects domestically or globally.

  • Plans and develops multiple HR projects with unique or controversial problems that have important effects on the organization.

  • May work with subject matter experts, outside consultants and vendors, as required.

  • Receives limited supervision or general direction, with strategic guidance from HR Directors/SVP.

  • Involves creative, independent solutions that will be adopted by HR corporate-wide.

  • As an individual contributor, conceives, plans and conducts consultation in areas of considerable scope and complexity.

  • Provides work leadership and training for HR project team.

  • May manage staff on a project basis.

There’s a lot to this opportunity and we’re looking for someone to be proactive, delivery oriented, highly collaborative and globally connected. You’ll work closely with the Enterprise Capabilities HR Leadership Team and HR Spain Team, Centers of Excellence – Talent Management, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition (Employer Branding), ED&I and EC leadership team, to coordinate development and engagement of our most important asset – our people. We are looking for an experienced HR professional who will demonstrate engagement and proactivity focused on supporting business in Spain. At the same time will engage into the global HR projects in area of Engagement, ED&I, Wellbeing, Change Management, supporting a goal of building highly performing and satisfied teams. This is a hands-on all-encompassing role and will require you to operate with confidence at a strategic and operational level to engage with HR and senior stakeholders. The role is 60% local (support in Spain) and 40% global. As a global business with a Think and Act Globally strategy, you will help coordinate solutions implementation into the EC business. You will be a consultant for the HR leadership team and will track and improve delivery of core employee engagement activities that are programmatic, like performance management and succession planning; as well as targeted solutions as needed at different levels of the organization.

60% HRBP

  • Be the HR focal point for one part of the business and provide day to day support for employees and managers on HR matters, alongside the Head of HR.

  • Ongoing partnership with employees and managers. Support the business growth through talent attraction and retention, and provide support, coaching and challenge to deliver actions that will drive people and organization performance, including development of managers capabilities.

  • Actively participate in the onboarding process and improve employee experience.

  • Help handle employee relations counselling and exit interviewing.

  • Support the movement of employees, working alongside with Global Mobility. Support in immigration /relocation processes if needed.

  • Assist with the annual year-end and talent development processes.

  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws.

  • Work with the internal HR systems to maintain human resource information records and create reports.

40% HR Project Coordinator

  • Closely partner with the global CoEs to ensure alignment with global programs and activities relating to ED&I , Wellbeing, EVP / Employer branding

  • Partner with the wider HR community at regional and global levels to collect information, share and coordinate initiatives and HR projects completion in the local context

  • Connect with the EC HR leadership team to understand the HR and business needs; effectively check and adjust the initiatives implementation action plan and schedule.

  • Identify challenges and opportunities to improve projects’ completion employee engagement, development, retention, performance and career management in view of meeting the changing business needs and strategy of the organization

  • Utilize existing global tools and resources to deliver HR initiatives/programs

  • Prepare communication relating to the delivery of global programs to the EC population ensuring the proper understanding of action plan and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Comms team to communicate global HR initiatives to the EC population

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or apprenticeship in a HR related field including the Social Sciences

  • Ideally minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of HRBP, HR Project Management, Talent Management, L&D, ED&I or other related fields.
