Position: Clinic Sales Senior Representative - MADRID

1. Primary Objective of Position

  • The Clinic Sales Senior Representative plays a pivotal role serving as the primary link between Core Diagnostics organization and healthcare professionals. They provide accurate and up-to-date scientific information about the company's products, collaborates and delivers continuous education to physicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Clinic Sales Senior Representative / Specialist is responsible for working together with the sales team, to maintain and expand the share of Core Diagnostics, and to improve its profitability.

2. Major Accountabilities

Scientific Communication : Interact with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and up-to-date scientific information about the company's products. Relationship Development: Establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key opinion leaders, researchers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in the assigned therapeutic area.

Continuing Medical Education: Facilitate continuous medical education by organizing and presenting seminars, symposia, webinars, and other educational activities for healthcare professionals.

Data Analysis: Interpret and communicate scientific and clinical data, as well as provide feedback to the organization on market trends and healthcare professionals' perceptions.

Internal Support:

  • Aid Sales team to identify and target areas, within each account, for opportunities to pursue and maximize share / improve profitability; make use of the Iberia Value Expansion Roadmap and the established CRM and commercial tools

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, research and development, to ensure strategic alignment and effective flow of scientific information.

  • Support Sales team as Subject Matter Experts (Product Specialist) to deliver more impactful presentations to customers.

Prepare and participate in Quarterly Customers Business Reviews Drive Business: Work in the field weekly with each Sales Rep in the district to help them drive their business forward by:

  • Making sure every territory plan is effective

  • Ensuring every account has a plan

  • Checking that Sales Reps are using the proper tools in the ‘Investigate’ stage to thoroughly evaluate the account

  • Supporting the Sales Rep to navigate the stakeholder ecosystem within an account

  • Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements

3. Education

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) preferably with clinical or research experience.

4. Background

  • Previous experience in similar roles in the diagnostic or biotechnology industry is highly valued. Minimum of 3-5 years track record with an emphasis on managing and expanding existing accounts, managing and improving customer relationships.

  • A solid understanding of clinical research and medical practices.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to establish effective relationships and maintain confidentiality.

  • Results orientation, ability to work autonomously and in teams.

  • Solid knowledge of regulations and ethical guidelines governing healthcare product promotion.

  • Excellent product and industry knowledge

  • Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics

  • Strong value selling and relationship building skills

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Finance knowledge

  • Analytical skills

  • Candidates must be fluent in local language and English, additional languages are advantageous

  • The position requires the willingness to travel on a frequent basis, i.e. on average three days per week.

5. Impact of position
