  • perform diagnostic and therapeutic sonographic procedures, while providing hands-on, caring, and compassionate patient care.

  • Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts, early OB and routine vascular examinations..

  • Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or completion of a Sonography certification program

  • Minimum 2 years of direct patient/health care experience (accredited program may count as experience)

  • Registered by RDMS in Physics and one of the following upon initial hire date: Abdomen, OB/GYN or RVT

  • Registered or Registry-eligible for any certification not held at the time of initial hire as follows:

  • *Must have registries in each of the following within 90-day orientation period:

  • Physics

  • Abdomen or OB/GYN

  • RVT

  • In-depth knowledge of adult, pediatric, neonatal and fetal physiology, cross-sectional and vascular anatomy

  • Experience and ability to recognize normal and abnormal findings

  • Demonstration of clear and concise verbal and communication skills

  • Patient care and effective communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor degree from an accredited ultrasound program

  • BLS certification

  • Experience with varying ultrasound equipment systems and procedures

  • Experience and training in neonatal environment
