WPS is working on the cutting edge of Microsoft SQL Server, utilizing new versions, tools, and techniques in our environment (currently on Microsoft SQL Server 2022). Our Database Administrator (DBA) assists with database performance and tuning duties and participate on project teams in an agile environment. After-hours production support activities are required for this role. How do I know this opportunity is right for me? If you: Enjoy installing and configuring new databases and instances. Can create, delete, and maintain database objects, including databases, tables, views, stored procedures, or triggers. Would like to work in a very secure environment with compliance and security at the heart WPS processes and standards. Enjoy monitoring, maintaining, and providing support for databases/instances. Can install DBMS patches and upgrades. Like to troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered by application users or developers.
