JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our Madison, WI office is now hiring Project Managers. Our Project Managers are the client manager for multiple public and/or private clients. This position is responsible for engaging in planning and consulting for various projects, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The Project Leader also designates project resources, prepares budgets, and keeps stakeholders informed the entire way. Main Responsibilities Include: Provide an excellent client experience by reviewing customer specifications for accuracy and maintaining communication with the client regarding project changes that may impact fees. Creates and monitors project scope, design schedules, budgets and contracts. Provides mentoring to entry-level project engineers in group on financial management, customer services, and the client management process. Serves as the primary point of contact with clients while striving to build strong, and long-term relationships as well as maintain current relationships with high-value clients. Assess projects to reduce and actively manage risks, while ensuring that risk management practices are in place. Delegates work to the project team, answers questions, monitors process, and review completed work. Prepare proposals, including fee estimates. Prepares project billing/invoices; follows up with clients to ensure timely ament of invoices. Collaborates with the team to coordinate project decisions in conjunction with the client and other stakeholders. We are looking for candidates who have a Professional Engineering License for the State of Wisconsin and 7 + years of project management experience with site development or municipal infrastructure design. Candidates should also be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications. Prepare budgets, bids, or contracts. Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients. Confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications or procedures. Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, or market demand. Review, recommend, or approve contracts or cost estimates. Administer highway planning, construction, or maintenance. Develop or implement policies, standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work. Establish scientific or technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management. Evaluate the environmental impacts of engineering, architecture, or research and development activities. Identify environmental threats or opportunities associated with the development and launch of new technologies.
