We're currently hiring a Refueling Technician, Level IV, on our PWR Refuel Services team. This position is based out of our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA, and requires travel to various customer sites.

Your Day-to-Day: Provide reactor services field activities including, but not limited to, reactor disassembly/reassembly, nuclear fuel movement, and lifting/rigging, at remote operating nuclear power plants utilizing high technology service equipment and in a manner reflecting Westinghouse's commitment to the highest level of quality. Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot reactor services field service equipment at customer sites, using but not limited to cleaning processes, NDE technology, robotic systems and computer networks. Serve as technical advisor as required. Supervise field crews on performance of assigned work, with a high degree of quality, and within the parameters of qualified procedures and guidelines.Maintain a high level of attention to detail, and document all quality related issues Review operational procedures, maintenance procedures, and drawings in detail. Develop, promote and exercise team-building skills with peers, supervisors, contractors, customers and other departments. Demonstrate good customer sensitivity and customer service skills. Develop and maintain a focus on creative problem solving. Perform Supervisory duties related to all field activities, ensuring that they are completed with a high degree of quality and within the parameters of qualified procedures and guidelines.Maintain a high level of attention to detail, and instruct coworkers on improving the teams' performance.Perform and/or supervise all assigned tasks, with a high degree of quality, and within the parameters of qualified procedures and guidelines. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and document all quality related issues. Practice a "Safety First" attitude as an integral part of all activities. Demonstrate good housekeeping practices in work areas. Gain and maintain "Unescorted Access" status at nuclear power plant sites. Demonstrate team-oriented leadership skills in supervising projects.Develop schedules with resource milestones and budget goals for team/project.Develop, maintain and modify equipment maintenance and mobilization plans.Provide performance feedback to management for personnel assigned to project. Maintain Resource Lead responsibilities, and perform duties of shift supervisor as required. Report status of field work progress, changes, problems, and/or mistakes to management on a daily or as need basis. This position requires extensive travel via airplane and/or automobile (60%-80%) and working with or around hazardous materials. This position is subject to the requirements of Westinghouse and customer security, unescorted access and fitness for duty programs. This position also requires the ability to carry/lift 50 pounds and must possess full range of motion.

Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: High school graduate or the recognized equivalent is required. 2 year, post high school degree/certificate or equivalent in experience is preferred. Specific knowledge and training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical curriculum as required as well as knowledge of algebraic formula. Experience 10+ years related experience with demonstrated evidence of mechanical and/or electronic aptitude and skill. *Years of related experience may be accelerated through demonstration of critical skills
