The Field Technical Specialist role is an excellent opportunity based in Victoria to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management team.

This role is responsible for providing technical expertise at implant/follow up and troubleshooting. As well as supporting Territory Managers and clinicians at Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) clinics.

Main responsibilities

  • Attend field visits to observe device implants and checks with colleagues.

  • Support implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and CRT devices at the direction of your Manager.

  • Conduct and provide technical support and advice at post op follow ups and clinics.

  • Develop a clear understanding of sales force effectiveness (SFE) imperatives by undertaking sales skills training and engaging with territory managers to better understand the key objectives designed to drive business growth.

  • Develop relationships with, and service key customer groups.

  • Conduct education/training to hospital staff.

  • Identify customer needs and communicate these to appropriate Territory Manager.

  • Maintain and update product knowledge including actively participating in internal and external training sessions.

  • Knowledge of and commitment to the requirements of the Quality Management System.

Minimum Experience/Qualifications required

  • Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical, Engineering, Medical Science, Human Movement or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) essential.

  • Expert communication skills and customer service skills.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
