Are you good with measurements? Do you enjoy Math? Do you have good communication and organizational skills? Do you want a job that will train you for a promotion? This position involves the mounting/setting up of printing plates on both plate cylinders and sleeves so they can be used by the printing press. The schedule is 7p-7a rotating every other week so you are guaranteed every other weekend off and OT every other week!!! If you want to learn more now!

work hours: 7 PM - 7 AM

Responsibilities
WORK PERFORMED:
All job responsibilities are to be performed with direction from trainer or another trained employee.
Understand basic operation of proofing equipment.
Ability to read and understand an art folder, match plates to art.
Verify job is correctly set up using parts of the art folder.
Use Press Setup/Traveler to verify stickyback, underlay info, color and deck location.
Proper placement of each cylinder on cart, understanding correct wind and press location.
Correctly measure and mic each cylinder.
Properly Measure the repeat.
Properly set up job using bag dimensions and measurements.
Begin to mount printing plates on cylinders and sleeves.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 40lbs
standing for 12 hours at one time
working up to 6 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends
