Main responsibilities:

  • Work in agile pods to design and build cloud-hosted ML products with automated pipelines for ML model management.

  • Design AI/ML applications and implement automated model and pipeline adaptation and validation in collaboration with data scientists and data engineers.

  • Support the lifecycle management of deployed ML applications, including new releases, change management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

  • Serve as the MLOps subject matter expert, developing and maintaining enterprise standards, user guides, release notes, and FAQs.

  • Research and gain expertise on emerging tools and technologies to continuously improve MLOps practices.

  • Actively seek out new learning opportunities and apply innovative thinking to solve complex problems.

About you:

Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience in data science, statistics, software engineering, modular design, and design thinking.

  • Proven experience in developing CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML development, deploying models to production, and managing lifecycle in regulated environments.

  • Expertise in building and deploying data science applications with large-scale data and ML pipelines.

  • Hands-on experience in agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.

  • Strong understanding of ML and AI concepts and practical experience in MLOps.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

  • Proficiency in working across the full stack and adeptness with programming languages and MLOps technologies (e.g., Python, Spark, R, Metaflow, Github, MLFlow, Argo).

  • Experience with cloud and high-performance computing environments.

  • Knowledge of AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, CloudWatch) and similar technologies (e.g., ELK stack, Snowflake, Informatica).

  • Skilled in relational databases, query authoring (SQL), and designing various types of databases (e.g., Postgres SQL, Document store).

  • Familiarity with visualization technologies (e.g., RShiny, Python DASH, Tableau, PowerBI, web frameworks) is a plus.

  • Proven track record in developing, deploying, and operating AI/ML models on complex datasets.

  • Experience in developing and maintaining APIs (e.g., REST).

  • Expertise in specifying infrastructure and using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform).

  • Background in cloud-based ML engineering within an industrial setting, preferably within a global organization or technology company.

  • Understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., quality, regulatory - data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity is advantageous.

  • Experience in mentoring or technology evangelism/advocacy for senior roles.
