University of Louisville Unit Financial Administrator II in Louisville, Kentucky

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Grade 6 (Salary).Position Description:The A&S Business Center is seeking an enthusiastic, results-oriented, motivated individual to join to join our team. The Unit Financial Administrator II will serve as the subject matter expert and point of contact for the Controller’s Office, Bursar’s Office, Financial Aid, and International Center within the College of Arts & Sciences. This role involves handling and processing all financial transactions related to those areas while ensuring adherence to university policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Manage all financial processes related to the A&S Office of International, Engagement, and Equity Programs, including study abroad programs and Quality Leadership University initiatives. Collaborate with faculty and students to facilitate related travel, issue cash advances, travel authorizations, and arrange flights.Process travel approvals and reimbursements for faculty, staff, and students within A&S, both domestically and internationally. Provide comprehensive training and communicate policies and procedures to travelers and travel arrangers.Function as a liaison between travelers and external partners like Anthony Travel, the Controller’s Office, and the International Center.Process all vendor payments for the college. Collaborate with external vendors to ensure necessary information is provided for timely payments. Communicate with all A&S departments to facilitate Accounts Payable processes, including purchase orders, electronic funds transfers, and wire transfers. Submit all payment requests to Accounts Payable and serve as the primary contact for vendor inquiries regarding payment status and processes.Create reverse purchase orders and link them to original purchase orders for the A&S Research Office. Process related wire transfers as required.Lead cash handling and oversee financial aid processing for A&S, ensuring compliance with university policies across departments. Submit all deposits and scholarship applications for the college.Assist the multiple A&S staff in the Unit Financial Administrator I role, providing expertise in payment processes.Serve as the primary point of contact for fiscal staff in Stevenson Hall.Set up encumbrances for submitted payments, deposits, and scholarships in BA. Reconcile QLU speed type.Other duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications Experience with BA, Workday, Microsoft Office, and PeopleSoft systems.Commitment to diversity or experience working in diverse environments.
