Conagra Sanitation Coordinator (3rd Shift) in Louisville, Kentucky

Shift: This role is 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM-10:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $23.95 an hour + $0.75 shift differential

  • This role reports onsite at our Louisville, KY Location.

  • Hourly Rate: $21.45 + Shift Differential & Coordinator Pay

  • $.75 shift differential

  • $2.50 Coordinator Pay

  • Overtime as scheduled (daily and weekend)

Note : TEAM MEMBER WILL WORK 4 DAYS A WEEK, 10P-8A. WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED. SCHEDULE MAY CHANGE BASED ON BUSINESS NEED. CAN FLEX SCHEDULE AROUND PRODUCTION TIMES.

A Day in the Life of a Machine Operator:

The Sanitation Coordinator position is responsible for a variety of tasks such as, providing support for the Team Lead, assigning daily / weekly tasks, along with the coaching a group of 10+associates.

As a working Sanitation Coordinator, you will be on the production floor cleaning, sanitizing, and rinsing equipment and production areas while following all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met. Responsibilities also include plant housekeeping/janitorial task which will include maintaining cleanliness of the common areas, Silo and rigid bin cleaning, interior blasting tasks and hygienic restoration events.

Must have knowledge of chemicals, sanitation processes for wet and dry cleaning, GMP’s, pre-op procedures and have a priority to assure quality of our product, safety, and cost factors.

  • You Will:

  • Work scheduled shift with the flexibility for other overtime, weekends or off shift needs

  • Direct, delegate tasks and coach associates in proper safety, chemicals, operation procedures, including OSHA required programs such as LO\TO and Hazard Communication. Develop an atmosphere that encourages teamwork within sanitation

  • Have knowledge of area equipment and preventative maintenance procedures

  • Assign daily\weekly task lists and ensure team members are on task, coordinate break time relief for each associate. Co-ordinate start and end time with team members.

  • Ensure daily inspections and pre-op are complete and meet SSOP’s checks.

  • Understand the importance of environmental and APC swabs.

  • Understand and support the need for improvements within sanitation and control cost factors such as water usage, chemicals, and supplies.

  • Perform corrective action investigations and cleaning for OOS swabs and hygienic restoration events.

  • Follow all GMP guidelines. Perform tasks while wearing required PPE: safety shoes, wet gear, face shield, gloves, and all other

  • Complete required paperwork daily per Quality & Procedural guidelines

  • Participate in the development and sustaining (CSD) of training documentation for all team members.

  • Support CPS activities to include: Safety, Quality, BOS, 5S, CIL, Centerline, Equipment Ownership, Area Ownership, Team Participation, and CSD

  • Responsible for any other tasks as directed by your Supervisor/Line Lead/Cell Lead

  • SAP documentation

  • Move and lift 50 to 75 pounds

  • Work in hot/cold/wet/steamy environments

  • Obtain and sustain a forklift license & Aerial Lift Certification
