Stock Yards Bank & Trust Maintenance II in Louisville, Kentucky

As a Maintenance II, you will maintain Eastpoint, branch properties and provide maintenance where appropriate. Basic mechanical and plumbing knowledge along with knowledge of HVAC system operations are important while Stock Yards Bank & Trust will provide a professional environment to continually improve the candidate’s skills to further his/her career goals for advancement within the banking profession.Responsibilities Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Complete routine maintenance at all locationsReplace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, equipment repair, bathroom maintenance and minor furniture repair, etc.Check heat / air units for proper operation, inspect/clear condensate linesCheck irrigation settingsCheck, reset, and change timers for lighting, irrigation and othersReplace batteries, check T-stat settings and recommend serviceLockset changes and key control, key management for all locationsSupplement outside cleaning services to ensure clean facilities including leaf and snow removal and spreading a deicing agent during inclement weatherProvide Grounds keepingOperate and maintain forklift,  front loader and utility equipmentWork with contractors / vendors for problem solving and assistanceMove office furniture, cubicles, shelving, etc for smaller movesAssist in set up and schedule for larger moves or special eventsCollect and maintain recyclable itemsUnload truck deliveries to bank and expedite to various departmentsStock & maintain company storeAssist Marketing Department with special eventsAssist in fire and security alarm testing and maintenanceAssist in fire sprinkler testing and maintenanceAssist Maintenance Manager as called upon and as necessaryOversee portions of landscape work done at various locations around the bank and branches and reports findings to maintenance managerKeeps receiving and storage area clean and organizedVisit branches and fills out maintenance work sheet- files with Facilities AssistantOther duties may be assignedJob RequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications:High School or GED equivalentBasic mechanical knowledge with knowledge of HVAC systems operations very helpfulBasic plumbing knowledgeDependability is a mustOperate a fork lift (training is required), operate a skid loader (training required)Ability to make good decisions and judgmentsDriver’s License RequiredBenefits401(k) with a company match of up to 6%ESOP employer matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceCancer / Disease insuranceAccident insuranceFlexible Spending AccountsHealth Savings AccountsBank paid Life / AD& D insuranceVoluntary Life / AD&D insuranceBank paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
