BrightStar Care Experienced Caregivers Needed Immediately in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Summary: BrightStar Care of Louisville is seeking experienced caregivers to join our team immediately. This is a part-time, remote-based position in the healthcare/medical field within the franchise industry. As an individual contributor, you will provide compassionate care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily tasks and promoting their overall well-being. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $13 to $16, with weekly pay. Compensation & Benefits: - Hourly pay ranging from $13 to $16 per hour - Weekly pay - Flexible work schedule - Opportunities for career advancement - Comprehensive training and support from our team - Appreciation and recognition programs - Healthcare benefits (for eligible employees) Responsibilities: - Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and proper body mechanics. - Administer medications and assist with activities of daily living. - Complete light housekeeping tasks and laundry for clients. - Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. - Document and report any changes in clients' condition to the supervisor. - Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the BrightStar Care team. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care setting - Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - CPR and First Aid certification preferred - Experience with Alzheimer's and dementia care a plus EEOC Statement: BrightStar Care of Louisville is an equal opportunity employer.
