Responsibilities
Greeting customers:Welcome guests, seat them, and escort them to their tables
Taking orders:Write orders down, memorize them, or enter them into a computer system
Serving food and drinks:Deliver food from the kitchen to customers
Handling payments:Collect payments from customers and prepare checks
Maintaining the dining area:Clean tables and floors, bus tables, and restock supplies
Answering questions:Explain menu items, specials, and cooking methods
Checking on customers:Make sure customers are enjoying their meals and address any problems
Physical requirements
