Job Title: Elevage Wine Company - Sales Representative Department: Sales Reports To: General Manager About Us: Elevage Wine Company is a new distributor representing the unification of Rosenthal Wine Merchant, The Rare Wine Co., Diamond Wine Importers, and select domestic producers. Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wine Sales Representative to join our team in Southern California based out of the LA metro area. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of wine and the southern California wine market. In this role, you will be responsible for growing new business and maintaining existing relationships, promoting and selling our portfolio of wines, while achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Responsibilities: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts in the assigned territory Promote and sell the company's portfolio of wines to retailers, restaurants, and other businesses Achieve sales targets and lean on current and historical data to make informed decisions and future projections Educate customers about wine and provide product recommendations Conduct wine tastings and events Report to sales manager on sales performance and customer feedback Requirements: 2+ years of experience of general wine sales Strong knowledge of European as as well as Domestic wine Familiarity with the southern California wine market - existing trade relationships are a plus High level sales and EQ skills with experience in closing your own deals Detail oriented and a capacity to make informed decisions based on data Ability to build new relationships while maintaining existing relationships Strategic mindset - “proactive not reactive” Ability to work independently in an organized fashion and as part of a team Valid driver's license Compensation and Benefits: Annual base compensation of $65,000 - $75,000 with commission and bonus opportunities.
