SALES ENABLEMENT OFFICER TMS

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Sales Enablement Officer provides tools and support and executes strategies to enable a productive and high performing Treasury Management Solutions / Commercial Products sales organization. This position requires general business knowledge and interest in developing deep expertise around City National's commercial product offerings. This individual works across the commercial products division and as a representative of the division in cross-functional, highly visible projects. Reports to Head of Product Communications & Sales Enablement, with dotted line reporting to Head of Commercial Products Sales.

What you will do

  • Work with the sales leadership team and other partners to develop and implement sales enablement strategies and priorities and to create actionable sales processes, goals and performance measures.

  • Develop and maintain understanding of the Commercial Products/Treasury Sales organization’s go to market process, sales cycle and tools needed to be successful.

  • Create and maintain materials to support sales teams with business development activities, including playbooks, procedures and plans.

  • Collaborate with Commercial Products teams and other Line of Business colleagues on strategic initiatives involving tactical execution.

  • Liaise with performance management team on performance measurement/sales reporting strategy/score card development.

  • Partner with performance measurement team members, the Salesforce team and Commercial Products sales leaders to capture all required sales data, ensure high level of usage, and build an automated sales process that is in alignment with division objectives.

  • Manage sales reporting – work with LOB stakeholders and Commercial Products leaders to design standards and procedures to book sales opportunities in Salesforce.

  • Establish and track consistent pipeline management procedures, create dashboards for sales manager use.

  • Work with the product pricing team on managing, approving and reporting pricing exceptions.

  • Partner with various groups within the bank to find, evaluate and establish relationship with 3rd party vendors to provide and enhance value add data that assist the treasury management sales team.

  • Comply fully with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).

Must-Have*

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years business experience, combined 7 years work experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the financial industry in a similar role

Skills and Knowledge

  • Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to work collaboratively; strong stakeholder management skills

  • Superior organizational, verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent project management skills with capability to manage/execute on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Desire to understand complex solution and how products work

  • Strong problem solving, resource management and time management skills

  • Flexible, able to adapt to tight deadlines, changing priorities and needs

  • High attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel), and familiarity and willingness to develop expertise in HTML, SharePoint, Adobe, Salesforce and Seismic (sales enablement platform)

  • Preferred Qualifications: General knowledge of commercial/treasury products, experience in sales, sales enablement, strategic planning or similar role

Compensation

Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
