Our client is seeking a QC Scientist/Engineer II to join their team. As a QC Scientist/Engineer II, you will utilize standard operating procedures (SOP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) to conduct testing of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods. Your role will involve data generation, product stability verification, data analysis, summarization, and various supporting activities to ensure the highest product quality.

Pay Range: $30-$32/hr

What’s the Job?

Max of 5

  • Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of testing logs and quality control records for products and lab-related activities.

  • Build and maintain a database of critical product performance measures for trend analysis.

  • Perform routine QC functions such as material testing, equipment calibrations, managing lab supplies, and maintaining a clean and orderly laboratory area.

  • Process and coordinate testing and disposition of product returns, and review and approve QC test data.

  • Assist with laboratory investigations of Out of Specification results and Non-Conformance reports.

  • Conduct product evaluation tests or special test requests to support product technical teams with process improvements, corrective and preventative actions.

  • Participate in team meetings to address product performance and process issues.

  • Assist with new analytical method validations, stability testing, and integration of new products into the QC laboratory.

  • Provide training for QC Associates in product line testing and various QC departmental functions.

  • Collaborate on and edit departmental standard operation procedures.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a biological or related science from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of laboratory/relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of laboratory/relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in MS Office for record and analysis reporting (Word, Excel, etc.).

  • Knowledge of Basic Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and GMP requirements.

  • Proficiency in the English language.

  • At least one year of experience in a biological wet lab, performing manual laboratory work
