Position description
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UCLA anticipates openings for appointments in the Project Scientist Series. This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon availability of extramural funding. Initial appointments are short-term and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support.
Project Scientists make significant and creative contributions to research or creative projects in an academic discipline and/or may engage in University and public service. Project Scientists are expected to have a broad range of knowledge and competency, appointment and advancement depends on technical contributions made to research. Positions may be full or part-time and may be with/without salary. Initial appointments are typically one year. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
