A trusted client of Randstad's has immediate openings for experienced Patient Registration professionals. Full and part-time opportunities available. Schedule is 5 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. Rotating weekends required. Previous hospital registration preferred with experience in insurance verification, medical billing and knowledge of medical terminology. salary: $25 - $26 per hour

shift: Third

work hours: 5 PM - 1:30 AM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks related to registration and pre-registration of outpatient and inpatient accounts.

• Calculates and secures patient liability, including copayments, coinsurance and deductibles in an efficient, accurate and hospitable manner to ensure that the patient, physician and hospital's needs are.

• 2+ yrs experience in front office/medical billing and/or current hospital registration/admitting * MUST have SOME registration experience *

• 2+ yrs experience in insurance verification and/or medical/hospital billing.

• Knowledge of eligibility requirements for Medi-Cal, Hospital Presumptive Eligibility Program, Medicare, Covered California, Cobra, limited benefit plans, VVC and Uncompensated Care Programs.

• IPA and EMTALA knowledge an experience

• Stringent adherence to all HIPAA laws

• Medical terminology
