Description
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Specialty Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic (SPOC). In this role, you will provide outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychologists.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct age-appropriate assessments and interventions
Interpret patient and family psychosocial needs, strengths, and preferences, providing consultation to the team
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence informed treatment modalities
Provide individual, couples, and group psychotherapy
Salary range: $51.94/hr - $62.08/hrQualifications
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work
Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the State of California
Required Experience & Skills:
Experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults with complex mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought disorders, personality disorders, histories of trauma, substance use disorders
Proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental status exams and clinical assessments
Expertise in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting
Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate and timely clinical records
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in behaviorally specific treatment planning
