Alpha Machinery & Technology Inc., CNC Machinist Operator in Los Angeles, California
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
Select and install cutting tools, attachments, and accessories on machines
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Troubleshoot issues with machines and perform routine maintenance tasks
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
Working experience in Aerospace CNC machine shop environment.
Experience with both 3 and 5 Axis CNC machines
Comprehensive understanding of CNC machining on both mills and lathes
Strong blueprint reading skills
Familiarity with CAD software, such as Mastercam and SolidWorks
Knowledge of tooling and cutting tool selection
Ability to use power tools and measuring instruments, such as calipers
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors
