Netflix Associate, Production Finance, Outreach & Training in Los Angeles, California

This Production Finance Associate position will be based in our Hollywood office and will support Netflix Production Finance Executives. This role will be a part of the Production Finance Outreach & Training team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with numerous Netflix teams including production, labor, creative talent development, tax, and public policy.

  • Facilitate multiple learning delivery mediums, including in-person training, virtual training, digital learning, and innovative strategies as well as creating ways to assess impact and success.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with freelance accountants, understanding their needs, and ensuring their experience with us is positive and rewarding.

  • Manage our monthly newsletter, communicate with networking mixer attendees, and maintain our accountant availability database.

  • Coordinate project meetings and timelines related to the development of Outreach & Training initiatives.

  • Effectively communicate ongoing projects, initiatives, and updates to the larger Production Finance team to ensure transparency and alignment. This includes articulating the team's vision and goals, facilitating open discussions, and providing regular updates on the team's progress and achievements. The role requires fostering a collaborative environment that encourages participation and feedback from all team members, thereby promoting a shared understanding and commitment to our vision and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in production accounting or production finance is required

  • Must possess a high level of intellectual curiosity with a focus on generating results

  • Must be highly collaborative and able to maintain excellence in a fast-paced, ever-changing landscape.

  • Must be able to clearly set expectations at every level, while strategizing internal needs and workflows to ensure delivery of the best work possible.

  • Must be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Must exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics

  • You have excellent communication (written and verbal skills) and are able to present ideas thoughtfully and articulately, whether to external freelancers or internal stakeholders.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000-$240,000
