The Kinetic Group Associate Product Development Engineer in Lonoke, Arkansas

Job Description

The Kinetic Group is seeking an Associate Product Development Engineer to lead product development programs for ammunition, to successfully launch market leading new products.

This position reports to the Director of Product Engineering and is located at our Remington Ammunition facility in Lonoke, Arkansas.

As the Associate Product Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide overall project management and leadership for successful completion of new product development projects including project documentation, maintaining program budget and schedule, product and tooling design, process development, quality specifications, raw material procurement testing and production.

  • Lead and work with and communicate effectively with Engineering Technicians and cross-functional teams to convey requirements and goals for successful launch of new products.

  • Clear problem solving and Failure Analysis capability to resolve design and production issues.

  • Support Marketing efforts, such as technical conferences and trade shows as the subject matter expert, to increase market awareness within the industry and consumers.

  • Work with minimal supervision.

  • Initiate and maintain vendor and outside technical resources as needed to be successful in developing new processes and products.

  • Exhibit thorough understanding and broad application of technical standards, principles, theories and techniques relating to small arms ammunition and other related disciplines is desired but not essential.

You have:

  • Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics or mathematics with 0-3+ years of related experience or equivalent technical training or experience.

  • Knowledge of advanced materials and processes.

  • Hands-on problem-solving skills desired.

You might also have:

  • Background in ammunition development, ballistics, firearms, and related processes.

  • Experience related to military service, hunting, competitive shooting, and reloading.

  • CAD/CAM experience desired
