Daycare Lead Teacher The Longmeadow Parks & Recreation Department is seeking Daycare Lead Teacher for the Greenwood Children\'s Center. Position is responsible for planning and implementing activities designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of children. Successful candidate must have: Knowledge of relevant Massachusetts General Laws related to essential functions. Knowledge of children?s developmental stages and behavior management techniques. Knowledge in the use of the ProCare technology program. Ability to multi-task and manage conflict. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to maintain open and constant communication and to maintain effective collaborative working relationships with Town departments, department heads, fellow employees, children and parents and to respond in a courteous and professional manner. Ability to work with children. Ability to physically and mentally react immediately to emergency situations. Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills and customer service skills. Basic housekeeping skills. High School diploma or equivalent, and 3 to 5 years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience. Must pass CORI and background check and be EEC Lead Teacher qualified. Maintain First Aid and CPR Certification. Salary \$25.24 - \$26.77 per hour DOE/DOQ Full Time position 40 hours per week with excellent benefits; municipal pension system
