Job Title: Quality Inspector

1st shift 6-2:30 M-Fri (Flexible)
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for inspecting parts using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) in the aerospace industry. This role involves minimal paperwork and focuses heavily on CMM operation, excluding programming tasks.
Responsibilities
Inspect parts using CMM
Ensure quality standards are met in the aerospace industry
Deburr and assemble parts as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure quality control
Essential Skills
Quality inspection experience
Proficiency in CMM operation
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Ability to read blueprints
Experience with deburring and CNC operations
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Exposure to CMM programming
Prior experience in a machine shop environment

Work Environment
The work environment is a medium-sized shop with approximately 38 employees, aiming to grow to 50 within three years. The shop is cleaner but somewhat crowded due to large CNC machines. The deburring and assembly area is separate, providing a dedicated workspace for these tasks. Employees can expect flexible working hours and opportunities for overtime.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
