Physical Therapist – Advanced Clinician - HSS Long Island

Overview

Hospital for Special Surgery's Rehabilitation and Performance team is actively seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist to join us at our state of the art facility in Uniondale, New York. This dynamic setting offers the opportunity for the physical therapist to practice in an environment where the clientele ranges from recreationally to competitively active. In addition, this is a direct access center.

Candidates need to be clinical experts in the field of orthopedic physical therapy, as well as expected to take a lead role in staff development, mentoring and a willingness to participate in educational initiatives for staff, community and professional audiences. This position requires strong communication, team building and leadership skills.

This position includes Saturday hours from 8am-1pm.

Qualifications

A Minimum of 3+ years of out-patient clinical expertise with an emphasis in differential diagnosis, examination and treatment of various musculoskeletal pathologies of the spine and extremities; both non-operative and post-operative is preferred. APTA certifications including OCS and/or SCS or certifications in manual therapy are preferable. New York State licensure is a requirement

USD $110,164.00/Yr.

USD $136,814.00/Yr.
