BridgeGate Systems, Inc. Computer Network Support Specialist in Long Island City, New York
Computer Network Support Specialist needed w/Master’s degree or Foreign Equivalent in Cybersecurity or Computer Science or Network Security or Information Assurance and one (1) year experience as Computer Network Support Specialist or Network Engineer performing following job duties:Work on Layer 3 switches. Refresh Project to replace existing Nortel 1648T switches with new Extreme ERS 5952 GTS in existing OSPF network. Upgrade existing Nortel equipment to newer layer 2/3 switches and configure CCTV in security networks. Perform Network and System Security design, implementation, configuration and installation of OSPF networks, IP Assignment calculation design for L2 and L3 devices in the OSPF network. Configure routing and switching protocols (OSPF, VLANs, STG, STP, MLT, 802.1Q, Trucking, VRRP & SNMP). Install Palo alto firewall-based System security and Cisco switches in the network. Upgrade and configure layer 3 switches in OSPF backbone ring, develop phasing plan, bulletin and method of procedures. Develop FAT procedures and set up a network lab to test new configurations and implement the same to production networks to enhance the Data security level.
