Job Summary and Qualifications

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Intern with us:

• You will perform drug packaging, patient billing, all aspects of drug compounding and distributions.

• You will provide drug information and clinical service to all health professionals and patients,

• You will monitor all aspects of drug therapy in the facility.

• You will supervise pharmacy technicians and interns.

Qualifications you will need for this role

• Licensed intern with the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy

• Enrolled in (or graduate of) a professional degree program at a board-approved school or college of pharmacy or a graduate who had established education equivalency by obtaining a board-approved foreign pharmacy graduate certification and who is currently licensed by the board.

• Previous experience in hospital pharmacy desired.

• Occasional shifts require driving to deliver to free-standing emergency departments; interns need access to a personal vehicle on days scheduled for these shifts, a valid driver’s license, and a current auto insurance policy.
