Sierra Nevada Corporation Associate Proposal Manager in Lone Tree, Colorado
Associate Proposal Manager position works with a Proposal Manager and will be in a hands-on training program. This individual will learn the complete life cycle of proposal management and proposal coordination. Most tasks require a high level of attention to detail and someone that can multi-task. Strong organizational skills are also necessary to manage multiple priorities and ensure that all proposal artifacts are completed on time.
This position also requires someone that can use the Microsoft suite of tools mainly Word and Excel. Ability to work with a collaborative group of individuals.

Must-haves:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple proposals of all sizes from proposal planning to delivery
Technical, proposal writing and proposal management experience with emphasis in technical products and logistics services
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
Ability to work within time constraints, have a flexible schedule, be ready to meet changing deadlines and priorities to capture proposal needs
Highly organized, detailed oriented, with effective analytical, problem-solving skills
A highly motivated self-starter who can pick up new processes and procedures quickly
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple proposals of all sizes from proposal planning to delivery
Technical, proposal writing and proposal management experience with emphasis in technical products and logistics services
Strong persuasive writing and editing skills
Ability to present in front of large groups
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred:
Formal Word and Excel training
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Ability to plan, deliver and manage activities to achieve targets in a planned and focused manner
Ability to work in an Excel databases
Federal, DoD or Aerospace experience
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $79,264.96 - $108,989.32. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
